Strategic Planning the Montessori Way: Aim, Scheme & Implementation

Thursday, August 12, 2027 · Tuesday, August 17, 2027 · Thursday, August 19, 2027 · 5–7 p.m. Central Time

About This Cohort

The strategic plan names the priorities, but the next steps still depend on whoever has time. In three two-hour sessions, you use the Montessori Makers Organizational Mapping framework to connect your school’s direction to the people and systems responsible for carrying it out. The first session establishes the aim and vision. The second develops the plan and stakeholder involvement. The third sets implementation and accountability. You leave with a three- to five-year roadmap draft, a stakeholder engagement plan, and an accountability system that names owners and schedules check-ins.

Why Now

Summer is a useful point to turn planning decisions into responsibilities for the next school year. Drafting the roadmap and check-in schedule now gives your team a starting point when the daily work of school resumes.

Who It’s For

For leadership teams and boards beginning or revising a strategic plan. It is focused on the school’s organizational direction, rather than an individual leader’s daily workflow.

What You Leave With

  • ·A three- to five-year roadmap draft connecting school priorities to people and systems
  • ·A stakeholder engagement plan for the planning process
  • ·An accountability plan naming owners, review schedules, and check-ins
