Onboarding by Design: A Values-Aligned Staff Onboarding System

Thursday, November 4, 2027 · Tuesday, November 9, 2027 · Tuesday, November 16, 2027 · 5–7 p.m. Central Time

About This Cohort

A new staff member gets the handbook and a warm welcome, then spends weeks figuring out whom to ask, what is expected, and whether they are on track. In three two-hour sessions, you build the support that should follow the welcome. The first session defines the purpose and philosophy of onboarding. The second develops the structures and templates. The third addresses implementation and equity checks. You leave with a 30-, 60-, and 90-day roadmap, role and expectation templates, and a communication schedule that makes support part of the plan.

Why Now

By November, the first months of school have shown where new staff needed more guidance or clearer expectations. Use those examples to build an onboarding plan for future hires while the gaps are still easy to name.

Who It’s For

For heads and directors responsible for helping new staff understand their roles and find support. It begins with onboarding, rather than recruiting or selecting candidates.

What You Leave With

  • ·A 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding roadmap for your school
  • ·Templates for documenting roles and setting expectations with new staff
