Equity Audits & Adult Culture Design

Thursday, April 15, 2027 · 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Central Time

About This Intensive

Someone raises a concern about fairness. You address it, but still do not know whether others are having the same experience. These five hours are for building a way to find out and decide what needs to change. You adapt an equity audit framework to your school’s adult community, prepare data-gathering tools, and work through how to interpret the evidence they bring back. You connect that evidence to root causes and priorities for adult culture. You finish with your adapted framework, your tools, and a prioritized action plan.

Why Now

With contract and re-enrollment decisions approaching, April is a useful time to examine how adults experience your school. Preparing the audit framework and tools now gives you clear questions to ask and a practical starting point for planning changes for the next school year.

Who It’s For

For heads of school, DEI coordinators, and leadership teams responsible for adult culture and equity. It is not focused on auditing children’s curriculum or classroom materials.

What You Leave With

  • ·An equity audit framework adapted for your school’s adult community
  • ·Data-gathering tools for identifying patterns and gaps in adult experience
  • ·A prioritized action plan for redesigning adult culture
